CHANGES: Due to the pandemic, you can make changes to your reservation up to 48 hours before your trip at no additional cost.
NO SHOWS AND CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel 30 days before the tour before 6:00 pm (Lima time), an administrative charge of 60% will be applied. After this time, there is a 100% cancellation or no-show fee.

PRE -Departure Briefing - Cuzco - Soraypampa - Humantay Lagoon
Transport to Mollepata for about 2 hrs.
Pick up from the hotel will start at 4:30 am. Once we have met our fellow travellers, we will board our transport and travel for about two hours until we reach Mollepata. There we will have breakfast at the border of the municipality of Cuzco before continuing on to Soraypampa which will be the starting point of our trek.

1h 30m walk up to the Humantay Lagoon
When we arrive at Soraypampa, we will begin to ascend the 300m to the Humantay lagoon, which will take us approximately 1hr 30 minutes on foot. When we reach the lagoon, we will be rewarded with a beautiful panorama of this place. We will not only be able to admire the Salkantay glacier (which reaches 5450m asl), but also the Villcamba mountain range. After a rest and free time of 1hr to walk around the place, we will prepare for the descent to Soraypampa. We will return to Soraypampa camp where we will have dinner and rest until the next morning.
Day 2 - Salkantay Pass - Soraypampa - Sakantay - Huayracmachay - Chaullay

Today we will get up early and after breakfast we will start the ascent to the Salkantay pass, which is located at 4750 meters above sea level, the highest point of the whole route, from where we will be able to observe the beautiful valleys and the imposing snowy peaks.

Then we will begin our descent to the village of Huayracmachay where we will have time to eat and regain strength to continue to our camp in Chaullay, where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 3 - Descent to the Semi-Tropical Rainforest - Chaullay - Playa Sahuayaco Lucmabamba - Santa Tereza - Cocalmayo

Early after breakfast we will start the descent hike, changing from a high Andean landscape to what is known as the jungle brow, to a more temperate climate. During the walk we will see beautiful landscapes, as well as more tropical flora such as orchids, begonias and different species of birds.

On the way to santa teresa by bus
We will arrive at Sahuayaco where we will stop for lunch, rest for a while and then a private bus will take us to Santa Teresa, where we will spend the night. Those who wish can go to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo.
Day 4 - We will shoot in the morning and hike to Aguas Calientes - Santa Tereza - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Calientes
We will do the sport of Tyrolean traverse after breakfast.
In the morning we will do the extreme sport (Tiroleza) for about 2 hours and then accompanied by our professional guide of Haku travel who will give you unique and personalized attention throughout our tour, this day we will have splendid view of many waterfalls from the glaciers ... also we will see coca and coffee plantations of the local people.

Arriving in the afternoon at the site of Machu Picchu pueblo
We will continue our hike by train and arrive in the afternoon to Machu Picchu village which is popularly known as "Aguas Calientes", where we will spend our last night at the foot of the great Machu Picchu (Inca citadel), accommodation in a hostel.
Day 5 - Visit to the Machu Picchu Citadel - Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cuzco
Bus or Walking ascent to Machu Picchu
Today we will have the chance to experience a magical moment: watching the sunrise at Machu Picchu. For this we will have to wake up early, so around four in the morning we will be served breakfast in our accommodation and we will go to the bus stop that will take us to the Inca Citadel (keep in mind that it is the only bus line that operates to make this journey and there are usually people waiting).
Second option to climb Machu Picchu more quickly

Once there, we will meet our guide and enter Machu Picchu to watch the sunrise. Afterwards, we will take a two-hour guided tour and have free time until lunchtime. Passengers who have the visit to Machu Picchu Huayna Picchu Mountain will have to go to the entrance where they will have to climb for 1hr 30m and visit for a prudent time, after the guided tour and free time in Machu Picchu or the visit to the Machu Picchu Huayna Picchu Mountain we will have to board the shared bus to Aguas Calientes.

Return by Train to Ollantaytambo
Arriving in Aguas Calientes you can visit optional sites such as (Hot Springs, Museum, Handicraft Centre) and in the afternoon we will have to take the train back to Ollantaytambo. After the 2hr train ride to Ollantaytambo, when we arrive in Ollantaytambo a staff will be waiting for you with a sign with the logo of the company to take you to board the bus that will take you to the city of Cusco for approximately 2hrs and will leave you near the hotel where you are staying.
