Highlights
In these two days we will walk along the hiking route: a trail that is more than 500 years old. During the hike we will appreciate a unique environment and our steps will take us to the archaeological site of Wiñaywayna and the Sun Gate, entrance to the sacred precinct of the Inca citadel. The next morning, we will finish our Inka Trail with one of the most beautiful sunrises, the sunrise at Machu Picchu and a guided visit to the archaeological ruins.

NO SHOW AND CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel 30 days before the trip before 6:00 pm (Lima time), a 60% administrative charge will be applied. After this time, there is a cancellation or no show charge of 100%.

PRE -Departure Briefing
Briefing with the guide of the route This is a day prior to the tour, a brief talk will be given to all travellers for approximately 20 to 30 minutes where each point of the trip will be explained in detail, any doubts will be answered and finally they will be given the respective recommendations such as: what clothes should I bring, can I bring my suitcase, is it hot on the route, etc.
Day 1 - On the way from Cuzco to the train station Km 104 in Ollantaytambo
Transport by bus from Cuzco to Ollantaytambo for 1:20min Inca Trail known as the network of connection to the sacred sites, we start with pick up around 4:00 am from their respective lodgings of each of the participants in the tour, then we will leave towards Ollantaytambo for approximately 2 hours, where we will take the train that will take us to km 104, the starting point of the Inca Trail. We will start with the hike along the Inca Trail route from Km 104. Before starting we will pass our ticket control to the Inca Trail, there begins a three hour hike to the archaeological site of Wiñaywayna, which is at 2600 meters altitude and is believed to have been the home of the ancient priests of Machu Picchu, we will have lunch and rest a little and continue walking along the Inca Trail until we reach the Sun Gate, the access to the sacred site of Machu Picchu. We will then descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, where we will stay at the hostel. We will have dinner and time to rest or optionally visit the thermal baths.
Day 2 - Visit to the Machu Picchu Citadel
Bus or Walking ascent to Machu Picchu Today we will have the chance to experience a magical moment: watching the sunrise at Machu Picchu. For this we will have to wake up early, so around four in the morning we will be served breakfast in our accommodation and we will go to the bus stop that will take us to the Inca Citadel (keep in mind that it is the only bus line that operates to make this journey and there are usually people waiting). Guided tour in Machu Picchu Once there, we will meet our guide and enter Machu Picchu to watch the sunrise. Afterwards, we will take a two-hour guided tour and have free time until lunchtime. Passengers who have the visit to Machu Picchu Huayna Picchu Mountain will have to go to the entrance where they will have to climb for 1hr 30m and visit for a prudent time, after the guided tour and free time in Machu Picchu or the visit to the Machu Picchu Huayna Picchu Mountain we will have to board the shared bus to Aguas Calientes. Return by Train to Ollantaytambo Arriving in Aguas Calientes you can visit optional sites such as (Hot Springs, Museum, Handicraft Centre) and in the afternoon we will have to take the train back to Ollantaytambo. After the 2hr train ride to Ollantaytambo, when we arrive in Ollantaytambo a staff will be waiting for you with a sign with the logo of the company to take you to board the bus that will take you to the city of Cusco for approximately 2hrs and will leave you near the hotel where you are staying.
